Reliability of Hijacked Journal Detection Based on Scientometrics, Altmetric Tools, and Web Informatics: A Case Report Using Google Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus

This paper presents a case report on detecting hijacked journals. Towards identification of fake journal website and preventing paper, we can use different tools including Google Scholar Web Science (WoS) Scopus (both as scientometric databases) to distinguish from legal website. Our evaluation shows that analysis doubtful for targeted based is not reliable. In fact, the tracking prior publications compulsory. Another result this study in some uncommon cases, websites (clone versions) may sometimes convince database order be fully/partially indexed along with an abstracting their papers while these steal identity Therefore, result, should check both WoS at same time verifying obtain more reliability.
